![]() ![]() Insurance Benefits SummaryThe district pays 100% of the cost of Basic Individual Medical Insurance Benefits for full time contracted employees. An employee may choose to upgrade coverage and/or add dependants to coverage for additional cost. The district will pick up a set portion of this cost for Medical and Dental coverage. Employees may participate in the following plans and/or programs on a voluntary basis
Workers CompensationThe H-OUSD workers compensation program provides benefits to employees who are injured on the job, including payment of medical services and lost income. Leave Benefits SummaryCertified Employees Administrators are granted 12 days of Sick Leave, five of which may be used for Personal Leave and 20 days of Annual Leave. Severance PackageUnused leave buy-back policy per H-OUSD Policy GCCA H-OUSD is a member of the Arizona State Retirement System. H-OUSD early retirement program is intended to provide school employees with the opportunity to retire prior to age 70 while receiving a benefit that recognizes their contribution to the District.
